Assistant teacher
Eve started dancing at the age of two and attended the Jacqui Wilson Dance School in Barlanark Community Centre, continuing to train with us as we transitioned to DanceUK.
As a pupil, aged 9 she auditioned for Young Performers and she was in her element. She was in many Dance UK productions such as the Sound of Music, Hairspray, Jack and the Beanstalk and many more until she graduated. Eve discovered a strong interest in Singing and Acting alongside her dance. As a triple threat, she decided she wanted a career in this field.
She joined Dance UK Pro aged 15 as she wanted to pursue tap and commercial to the next levels; these were her favourite styles and still are today.
Eve was also part of the Dance UK Show Team, which gave her the opportunity to sing at Events all over Glasgow such as George Square Christmas Lights Events and the Glasgow Evening times Awards Ceremonies. These local gigs gave her the confidence and drive that she needed to further progress in her chosen career of a performer.
Eve graduated when she was 18 from Dance UK and continued her training in acting, performance and Musical Theatre with acting coach Scotland where she gained her diploma. She passed this with flying colours alongside all of her BATD qualifications from DanceUK.
Alongside her studies and exams she successfully passed her first teaching exam with ISTD in streetdance during the Covid 19 pandemic. The skills learned here she uses in our StreetdanceUK programmes which she coaches alongside Brandon Copeland and assistants.
With her training and performance skills Eve auditioned for Carnival Entertainment and was successful; she has just finished two professional contracts with Carnival cruise lines and P&O cruises onboard Ventura and Brittania cruise lines.
Using her experience as a lead performer at DanceUk and her organisational skills as a teacher, Eve worked as an entertainment host and singer whilst travelling around Europe and the Caribbean.
Being part of Dance UK has taught her to be confident and versatile in her career as a professional performer. As well as pursuing her professional experience at Dance UK and working with children to help them reach their full potential while having lots of fun.
Eve is a talented member of DanceUK with many skills making her an all-rounder and great teacher. We love having her on our team here.
